Tameside secondary school graded "Good" by Ofsted are looking to appoint a Science teacher for a temporary 1 term post in September. The school are advertising permanently for September 2020 so there is potential to earn a permanent Science contract for the appointed candidate.

Well respected in the borough of Tameside, this is a high achieving secondary school that performs consistently above averages academically and is renowned for having excellent senior leadership and behaviour from pupils.

This is a full time Science teaching post with a preference for a Chemistry specialist, where you will be expected to plan and mark your own work and ensure students are reaching their expected targets in line with their progress 8 scores. You will be joining a high performing Science department and will be provided with consistent support and shared resources. There are low levels of students who use English as an additional language and below average numbers eligible fro free school meals.

Science teacher s interested in this post will need to be available for interviews planned by the school in the upcoming half term. Located in the SK14 post code of Tameside there is a train station 15 minutes away and direct bus routes for those on public transport. For those driving the school I accessible via the M67 or A roads from Stockport.
