Here at Teaching Personnel I am looking to recruit 2 behaviour mentors for my client secondary school based in the LS6 area of Leeds. This role is to start in September on a full time basis for the first term initially with a view to go permanent. They are looking to appoint 2 Behaviour Specialists who have past experience of working in challenging environments whether that be in school or an alternative setting like youth work. This role would be ideally suited to an ex prison officer/police/military/behaviour support worker where you can be that role model to pupils within school. Your main tasks throughout the day would be to build relationships with disengaged pupils and find ways to build confidence and motivation to stay in school and learn. With the long break in normal school routine, this secondary school are invisaging some tough challenging pupils upon the return of schools opening so resiliance and patience is key for this role.

What I am looking for:

* experience in working in a challenging environment - team teach would be advantageous
* the ability to be patient and resilient
* someone who is able to build effective long-term relationships
* A role model - be an authoritative figure when needed
