DT Teacher - The School

DT Teacher (Product Design and Resistant Materials) is required for a mixed Secondary School in the Ealing area to teach the Design and Technology curriculum to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 + KS4). The school offers fantastic opportunities for progression and development through many CPD courses and departments full of supportive staff.

The school is constantly improving and it has done this by implementing an effective behaviour policy. The ideal DT Teacher for this position will have strong behaviour management skills in order to implement this policy, whether the class is working a practical task or learning in a more conventional classroom dynamic.

DT Teacher - The Role

The school's successful DT department is seeking a DT Teacher to work full-time. You will have outstanding qualifications, experience and be able to educate your students to a level where they are always improving. This role is perfect for an established DT teacher, seeking a new challenge and work in an ideal teaching environment, with fantastic support and progression. The role is also suitable to a Design and Technology NQT who is seeking experience in a school offering fantastic progression.

DT Teacher - The Requirements

* Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE etc.)
* Ideally have a degree in DT or similar subject.
* Have experience as a DT Teacher to a class of 30 at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4).
* Have a passion for teaching DT and the ability to educate and motivate pupils so that they achieve their full potential.
