Are you an English Graduate looking to gain a teaching assistant role in a high achieving secondary school?

Do you hold previous experience working in a Secondary school supporting pupils in English Literature and Language?

A client school located in Rochdale are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced teaching assistant to cover an absence within their English department. If you hold previous experience supporting pupils within lessons on a one to one and small group's basis this position will be perfect for you. You will be required to provide general support to the class teacher as well as supporting a range of pupils varying in ability, with their English studies on a one to one basis.

The school are looking for:

* A graduate in English Studies/Level 2/3 teaching assistant.
* A hard working and competent individual who has a passion for education.
* A strong behaviour manager.

The school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll and is located close to Castleton just off the M62. This teaching assistant role will be full time until Christmas initially, with the opportunity to go permanent based on performance. If you do not live in the Rochdale area, it will be an advantage if you do drive.
