Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Support in Barnsley

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of mainstream secondary schools in Barnsley and due to a huge increase in demand for September 2020 we are looking for teaching assistants to support in the classrooms and Inclusion Units within these schools. You will be required to work alongside teachers and inclusion managers within school to ensure children are on task and getting the support they need. You will help children manage their behaviour, implement the school's behaviour policy and work 1:1 or in small groups with children.

We have flexible work to fit around your commitments or full time long term opportunities depending on what it is you are looking for. The ideal candidate will have school based or voluntary experience already and will be wanting to make a positive impact on student's lives. You will need:

* A childworkforce DBS (or be willing to apply to one)
* Prior experience in a school or working with children in any capacity
