An exciting opportunity to work alongside pupils with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they reach their full potential from September due to a huge gap in their education since the COVID19 outbreak.

Overview of SEN TA role:

* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role available from September 2020.
* Work within the SEN department of an average sized secondary school in Chorley.
* Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASC and ADHD.
* Providing guidance inside the classroom and during break/lunch time.
* Working alongside the inclusion manager and SENCO to ensure all pupils have the correct support they require.
* �10.00 - �11.00 per hour
* Temp to perm contract!

Application Requirements

* You must have experience with young people who have Special Educational Needs in or out of an educational setting.
* Any experience within a school setting previously is desirable however not essential.
* Youth workers, support workers, previous workers in the mental health sector all urged to apply.

The successful candidate will be expected to confidently support pupils with SEN in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Many of these pupils require empathic and specific support in order to reach their targets and it is important the successful candidate understands this tailored support.

We are looking for an inspiring and passionate secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with the class teachers to help provide a structured and motivating learning experience for students to reach their individual potential. You will be enthusiastic, have great interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team and want the very best for young people.

Our client school is based in Chorley, close by to Bolton / Leyland and is easily accessible via surrounding areas such as Preston, and East Lancashire. Our client school is also accessible via several public transport links as the school is close to a train station.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
