The Role:

Our client school in Yateley is currently recruiting for a full time History Teacher to join their humanities faculty for a maternity position and help pupils to raise attainment across the History Curriculum. This position is to begin in September 2020. You would be expected to teach KS3-5 at a high quality and be able to aid the faculty in identifying key pupils that could be pushed forward or helped to catch up. The ideal teacher would be:

* Passionate about Teaching
* Recent and relevant experience teaching History
* A confident educator with the drive to improve both their own abilities and the abilities of the faculty
* The ability to commit to what could become a permanent position depending on quality of teaching and attitude toward the school and role

The School:

The school based outside Farnborough has been rated Good by Ofsted across the board, they have also been graded Outstanding in their Post 16 education, Ofsted have said "The behaviour of pupils is good, including that of the small number who attend the alternative provision. Pupils are polite and courteous. Pupils were welcoming to the inspectors, saying 'Hello' and always thanking inspectors if they held a door open for them. During break and lunchtimes, they socialise happily together and interact well with each other and with staff." Located off the M3 it is within a short commute from Reading, Basingstoke, and Guildford however it is also possible to commute in from Winchester, Southampton and London with excellent rail routes and local buses running throughout the peak times.
