A very highly regarded Special Educational Needs (SEN) SEN School in Kingsbury, London has an exciting full-time, opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher/ with experience of teaching the Primary Curriculum.

The role will see the experienced SEN Teacher working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in order to further develop the outstanding attainment, the school has already achieved.

The experienced Primary SEN Teacher will be passionate about the role, creative, skilful and be able to demonstrate a high degree of expertise in this area of education.

SEN Teacher:

� UK QTS is essential - additional SEN CPD qualifications are of interest

. Able to travel to North London.

� Able to provide evidence of successful experience in teaching children with Autism

� Able to demonstrate successful ASC specific approaches to differentiation

� Knowledge of specialist approaches and resources such a Makaton, TEACCH and PECS

� Leadership experience or potential would be of interest

The Role:

� To teach KS1 to KS4 aged pupils who mainly have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)

� To work closely alongside the SLT, TAs and the team of onsite therapeutic professionals

� To devise IEPs for pupils, ensuring they have a varied, structured and pertinent curriculum

� To maintain an updated understanding of ASC and to implement new teaching strategies, where appropriate

� Full-time, permanent from September 2020
