Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Primary or Secondary SEN Teachers for roles within a specialist SEN school to start in September.

The school caters for 150 pupils split between small classes; offering pupils the opportunity to progress both academically, emotionally and socially. Attending pupils have all been statemented, taken out of mainstream schooling and working to Education and Health Care Plans.

This Good rated provision caters for pupils from across the entirety of Hampshire, who are secondary aged and have a range of special edicational needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

For this role applicants will be working in classes formed of between 7 and 9 pupils, leading the educational and pastoral support for the students, with 1-3 Support Staff at your disposal depending on pupils needs in your class.

We are recruiting for staff in a range of subject areas and will also consider Primary Specialists.

The candidate:

Applicants must have previous experience working with complex behaviour or challenging needs, either professionally or personally. QTS is essential. Additional qualifications which may be useful include: Team Teach or PECS.
