A GOOD primary school based in Wimborne are looking to recruit an experienced Special Needs teaching assistant who is able to work with pupils across school who require additional 1:1 support and have an Educational Health Care Plan in place. The start date for this role is September 2020 however, the school may need to start this role earlier, should the children return to school in the next couple of weeks.

The successful candidate will be working full-time hours 8am- 4pm on a fixed term contract offering up to �350 per week depending on experience. Depending on how well the candidate works within the school there may well be an opportunity for the role to become permanent after the 1 year contract has finished.

For this teaching assistant role you will be supporting a number of children across the Primary age range who have Special Needs (mainly Autism).

The ideal SEN support needs to be confident, resilient and enthusiastic at all times as you will be required to support pupils both in and out of the classroom on a 1-2-1 basis. The school is rated as outstanding for helping pupils with a variety of complex issues which focus primarily on behaviour management and key life skills. This is a very good opportunity for an experienced SEN 121 support specialist to take the step to the next level.
