Behaviour Support Assistant/ Youth Worker - September 2020

Desired Skills/ Experience:

- Experienced Youth or Community Support Worker

- Previous experience in a Behaviour or PRU setting
- Working knowledge of meeting the emotional, social and mental health of young people as outlined in a young person EHCP

- Desire to take a supporting role in alternative education setting

- Understanding of working with SEMH

- Confident to deliver 1:1 support

The post is a Septmber start at a special school based in Islington, during term time until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.
The school cohort of pupils have complex behavioural difficulties therefore we look for passionate committed people to work with these vulnerable young people to provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
