Humanities Teacher - Camden - Teaching KS3 - KS4

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a mixed gender secondary school in Camden. This established secondary school is currently seeking a Humanities Teacher for a September start. Due to an unexpected staffing change, our client School is looking for a teacher who is confident teaching multiple subjects including Geography, History and RE.

* Full-time Humanities teacher required for a September start.
* Teaching a full timetable across KS3 and GCSE.
* Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
* Newly refurbished Secondary school in Camden with excellent transport links.

Application requirements - Humanities Teacher

* Must hold subject specific qualifications within Humanities (Geography, History or RE).
* Both experienced and newly qualified Humanities teachers are welcome to apply.
* Must hold QTS.

The successful Humanities teacher will be expected to:

* Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Humanities.
* Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Humanities lessons across all three subjects.
* Prepare lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.
* Support pupils with learning difficulties and implement intervention strategies for teaching assistants to deliver.
* Monitor and evaluate pupil progress alongside senior members of staff in order to take appropriate action where needed.
* Promote positive behaviour management and manage behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policies.
