Deputy Manager at Turnfurlong Specialist Care Centre RGN

£35,100 per annum dependant upon experience

37.5 hours per week

Turn Furlong Specialist Centre in Kingsthorpe, Northampton, offers a range of short stay, intermediate, and respite care services for older people to enable them to return to their own home; await a move to live at a more appropriate community setting or to provide a break for carers. There are 24 places offering rehabilitation, 8 respite care places, and 19 respite care places for older people with dementia related illnesses.

Physiotherapy and occupational therapy support are provided for older people requiring rehabilitation and there is a spa pool, fitness suite and occupational therapy kitchen within the Centre accessed from a spectacular central top lit arcade.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs Deputy Manager (RGN) you will provide effective leadership and direction to the team and support the Registered Service Manager in the clinical and operational management of the service to make a difference.

As well as being clinically responsible for certain operational areas, you will also take a significant role in the management of the staff team.  You will have an effective way of communicating with your team, and above all, act as a champion for everything that you do.

This role is central in maintaining and further developing our care principles, which centre on 'wellness, happiness, and kindness'. Our vision is to provide the quality of care that we would want for our own loved ones.
