PE teacher required at Bolton Secondary School

Maternity teaching placement starting in September 2020 for a PE teacher at an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school. This is a full-time position, teaching PE to students aged 11-16 up to GCSE level.

Due to an upcoming maternity, our client school seek to appoint a Female PE teacher on a full-time basis and require someone to start in September 2020. Recent teaching experience delivering PE at GCSE level is a must.

The school is an 11-16, mixed community comprehensive school situated on the border of Bolton and Wigan within Bolton Council's boundaries. The school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll. The vast majority of children are of white British heritage and the number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average. Located on the outskirts of Bolton, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M61 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Chorley, Salford and Wigan.
