Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted

Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, 1 to 1 intervention experience or just want to help SEN pupils achieve the best they can? This is a brilliant opportunity for you to offer your expertise as a Teaching Assistant in a class that needs some extra help with SEN pupils who might need 1 to 1 interventions.

School can be a frustrating and confusing experience for children who have not developed their speech and communication skills. Not only will access to the curriculum be difficult, so will developing co-operative skills and friendships. This is a chance to change that, as it has been proven, Specialist Teaching Assistants working closely with the SEN pupil is far more beneficial to the pupil than being left alone to work within the class. This is a vital role for the pupils development and life.

Details about this role:

* SEN Teaching Support work in a year 3 class of 24 pupils with 2 SEN Pupils

* Work in a lovely primary school with a supportive and local staffing team who will help you throughout the placement

In order to apply you must:

* Hold a UK recognised child care qualification (NVQ Level 3 etc.)
* Relevant experience to the role, SEN experience would be great!
* Be able to provide 2 good references
* Valid DBS
* Be passionate and enthusiastic about helping SEN pupils get the development and support they deserve

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
