Are you seeking a new opportunity, supporting the needs of students with SEN?

Do you have experience supporting young people, aged between 8-25 with Autism?

A school on the outskirts of Preston is seeking x2 Teaching Assistants to support the needs of young people with Autistic Spectrum conditions. You will work alongisde the class teacher and other teaching assistants to establish routine and maintain structure for the pupils in your care. You will ideally have experience in an SEN setting and must have experience of Autism. Experience in areas such as Makaton, sensory impairments / processing and speech, language and communication is also valued, as well as experience supporting young people who express challenging behaviours. Those with Team Teach are highly sought after!

Class sizes are small.

You will ideally have knowledge and understnding of the UK curriculum and ideas on ways to improve outcomes for those with SEN.

The role is from Septemeber 2020.
