There are children from traumatic and abusive backgrounds (LAC, ADHD, SEMH) that require support with their learning and development, located in St Austell.

This position would be ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Care Workers, Support Workers, Sports Coaches, Ex-Military, Ex Police Officers, Youth Workers, Social Workers, Qualified or Experienced Counsellors and Ex Prison Officers.

A specialist education provider just outside of Launceston strives to provide a good quality of education for pupils with additional needs. You are required to support and improve the learning and development of each child you work with, which is extremely rewarding. This is full time 5 days a week and will be 08:30 - 15:30, pay is �57-�65 per day. You will be exposed to the harsh reality of pupils who suffer/have suffered neglect and as a result now display challenging and aggressive behaviour. With a strong interest and previous experience, personal experience and/or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN), the successful applicant will be a resilient and motivated individual, who is ready to start work as soon as possible and is able to provide pupils aged 5-16 years with consistency in a learning environment. The school take the students out on outdoor learning every week as a part of their education such as; Trampolining parks, Beaches and Woods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
