A School which caters for pupils who struggle to remain in mainstream education are looking for a new, full time, Learning Support Assistant.

This role comes about due to the expansion of the School and an increase in pupil numbers.

The School in question is based on the outskirts of Blackburn and has approx. 120 pupils on roll with a range of needs including; Autism, ADHD, ODD, Challenging Behaviours and Learning Difficulties. The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their growing team. The School are Ofsted judged 'Good' and candidates working in this School will be entitled to join in all the Schools CPD sessions.

The candidate applying for this role must have the following:

- Experience working with pupils with SEN

- Strong behaviour management skills

- A calm, resilient yet empathetic nature

- A passion for working with pupils who are often disengaged from education

- The ability to work from 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday

The pay for this role will be between �65 - 70 per day and you must be willing to undertake one voluntary day in School prior to the role commencing to ensure you're the right fit.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
