During these difficult times Teaching Personnel are on a recruitment mission to ensure we can service our schools when they re-open.

Teaching Personnel's Bradford Primary branch are recruiting for Behaviour Support Workers to work in primary schools in the Bradford area. Students may present additional needs such as ADHD/Mild ASC/Asperger's etc. As a behaviour support worker you'll be working with students with challenging behaviour helping them to engage with education and take their next steps in life.

The successful behaviour support worker will have experience supporting challenging behaviour and/or other complex needs, have strong classroom and behaviour management and have patience and an empathetic approach. You will be resilient, show initiative and believe you have the potential to deliver outstanding outcomes.

To be considered as a Behaviour Support Worker you must:

* Excellent approach to supporting vulnerable young learners
* Have the ability to maintain a positive learning experience
* Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
* Be non-judgemental and open minded

Preferred but not essential experience:

* Previous school/ Primary experience preferable
* Previous experience as a special needs teaching assistant
* Willing to adapt to a new challenge everyday
* Supportive and open minded approach to working with special needs children
* Have strong communication skills
