A Head Teacher from an Alternative Provision in the Guilford, Surrey is seeking multiple Learning Support Assistants.

The School is smaller than average and caters for KS1/KS2 with around 50 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ASC, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours - many of these pupils are no longer able to remain in mainstream education. The School are seeking hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Learning Support Assistants to work alongside the Teacher in managing behaviour and assisting with school work.

The candidate will ideally be MAPA trained or willing to undertake the course within the next few months. The candidate must be hard working, resilient and confident in working with pupils who may display difficult behaviours, to succeed you need to be flexible, energetic and dynamic.

We are ideally wanting people who are available ASAP but with the current ongoing situation with Covid-19 this role may be subject to change or delay, however, whist we have other SEN schools currently open we are still looking for others suitable candidates so please still apply.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates GBP65- 75 per day

- Long term/Permanent positions available

- Monday - Friday (Term time only) 08:30-15:30

- All on a PAYE employment - No umbrella companies!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
