We understand that these are unprecedented times and that it is difficult for everyone. However, we are still recruiting and can assure you that we will need Teaching Assistants in future due to an increase in pupil numbers in our SEN schools we support. Therefore, if you are interested in applying we would urge you to do so. While we may be unable to hold face-to-face interviews currently, we would be able to do this remotely.

Are you adaptable and able to bring out the best in pupils with special talents, aged 4 - 19, with severe, profound or complex needs, either physically or mentally?

We require Teaching Assistants to join our agency and work in SEN schools when they re-open (liklihood in September). We are looking for drive, enthusiasm and potential.

This is a great opportunity to develop your career by building on your current success. The working hours are 8.30-3.30, Monday to Friday, term time only (we cannot be flexible with this). Many of the schools we work with have career paths for our Teaching Assistants.

Successful candidates will either be experienced and successful Teaching Assistants who enjoy team working and taking responsibility or have worked in a Special Needs or child based environment. Alternatively you may have a passion for special needs and looking for your first opportunity. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to inclusive principles and be committed to safeguarding children and young people.

If you are interested in this role, please get in touch ASAP.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
