Teaching Assistant Required for a behaviour provision in Tameside.

As Teaching Personnel have a high demand for Teaching Assistants to offer 1:1 support for pupils from EYFS to KS2 aged 5-11 years of age with severe emotional, social, mental health and behavioural difficulties.

We are working with schools across the Tameside area, who cater for students who have been excluded or are in the process of being excluded and require additional support. The school believes in creating a nurturing climate catered to individual needs.

You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour, however, this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
