Teacher Vacancy at specialist school for primary aged pupils with SEMH - Ealing

Are you looking for a primary teaching job for September?

Are you able to connect with students who have challenging behaviour, including those who may already have been excluded from a mainstream school?

A primary school in Lambeth is looking for a key stage 1 and a key stage 2 teacher, both to start in September. The school has provision for up to 50 students in total, and accepts students who are referred by the local authority. Referrals are made due to previous permanent exclusions, managed transfers and when the school is named on a child's EHCP.

* 120 - 170 per day, dependent on experience
* Full time, long term post, starting in September 2020
* The classes are small (maximum 10 students)
* You will have support from at least two TAs
* You will have designated PPA time
* Opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract with the school after Christmas if you are successful in your post

Why work at this school?

The school has an extremely positive ethos, and the main focus of the school is supporting children to reintegrate back into a mainstream setting, ideally before they reach the end of year 6.

The last time the school was inspected by Ofsted it was graded as a 'good' school, and over a third of their students had been reintegrated successfully back into mainstream school within the previous academic year.
