Graduate Future Teacher Training Programme 2020?

Have you thought about or are you considering a career in teaching? If so this could be the hands-on, practical experience you've been looking for!

We are in partnership with several primary, secondary and SEN schools across the local Reading and Berkshire areas that offer unique opportunities for graduates to gain valuable experience and paid work in their schools. This builds a foundation of skills so you can go on to teacher training either within that particular school or another local one. Pay rates vary depending on location and school.

What's on offer?

Paid work in a secondary school setting as part of the Future Teacher's Programme
Work can be from one term to one academic year depending on the school setting
Observing various lessons and classrooms to experience different styles of teaching
Performing duties such as; small group or 1:1 interventions to help raise attainment, SEN and behaviour support and cover supervision for absent teacher
The chance to become a recognised and trusted person within a school who can consider you for future teaching opportunities once you qualify
