We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding behaviour specialist teacher to join a dynamic special school until the end of this academic year 2020/2021 in Islington area for a September start. This will be leading a small group of KS2 pupils who have complex behavioural needs; you will be planning for pupils individual needs to provide a therapeutic and tailored education. This position would suit an experienced teacher with a particular interest or experience in special needs and working within the behavioural needs sector, with good behaviour management!

The curriculum requires the delivery of teaching across a range of subject areas, so no particular subject specialism is essential, but for this particular class group it would be beneficial to have an understanding of working with pupils who have complex emotional behavioural needs and present with challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
