The school considered to be a 'good' school which consistently maintains good quality education are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of Maths to join them for September 2020. The School is a very large school with a very positive sense of ethos and purpose.

The Maths department are a very innovative team of professionals who plan their lessons to ensure that students are well prepared for challenges and opportunities they may face in the future. It is the aim of the Mathematics faculty to inspire the next generation to a love of learning Mathematics through a well-structured maths curriculum, which allows students to master key skills throughout their studies. The department encourage students to challenge themselves by taking part in enriching activities outside the classroom, for example the UKMT Mathematics Challenge. As a Maths Teacher at this school you share their ethos and encourage every student you teach to grow and develop in a safe nurturing environment.

* They aim to facilitate learning through exploration and discovery, and encourage pupils and students to take responsibility for their own learning.
* They want their learners to be cooperative, collaborative, reflective and able to self-evaluate. They will encourage them to do this through the creation of a supportive atmosphere that rewards effort as well as success.
* Above all, they want to make sure their lessons are engaging, and infuse their pupils with the enthusiasm and passion they feel for Maths.

The school are looking for a either an NQT or MPS Teacher who share their ethos, who can continue to drive excellent and support their strong results at all key stages. Results at GCSE and A Level can often be outstanding with many of their students securing places at prestigious universities so it is important that the successful candidate is committed to their students, can work collaboratively with colleagues and are passionate about achieving excellent teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
