Teaching Assistant - Autism Support

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a primary school in Fazakerley, who are currently looking for an experienced special educational needs Teaching Assistant. The role will be working one to one with a pupil in year 3 with autism, and slight behavioural disruption. The role will be full time Monday - Friday, and is set to begin in September 2020 until July 2020. The pupil requires a Teaching Assistant who can help them with their concentration during lessons, and help with their emotional needs throughout the day.

Ideally you will have previous experience working with children with autism, and be confident dealing with challenging behaviour in the classroom. The pupil is very reluctant to change, so you must be able to commit to working full time as consistancy is key.

Ofsted have graded the school 'Good', and there is a strong support network throughout.

* Mainstream Primary School
* Full time, fixed term contract
* Fazakerley, Liverpool area
* �60 - �70 per day
* Monday - Friday
* Hour - 8:30am - 3:30pm

The school is easily accessible via public transport, and has parking on site.

The ideal Candidate:

* Experience as a Teaching Assistant
* Experienced working alongside children with lower level learning and special educational needs
* Experience working one to one with individuals with autism
* Patient and supportive manner
