Do you have a knack for building rapport with challenging young people ? Maybe you have a background in Youth Work and are looking for a similarly rewarding opportunity?

Teaching Personnel work alongside a federation of schools in Manchester which provide alternative education to students struggling to engage with mainstream education.
Across 4 sites, students with social, emotional and mental health issues follow an adapted curriculum to suit their learning and personal needs which includes exciting vocational activity and creative outlets for them to express themselves and grow freely. The federation require Youth Worker support on a flexible and ad hoc basis across all sites!

Due to their personal challenges, students can find it hard to engage, may act out and choose to misbehave.
As Youth Worker, not only will you support them in accessing an Education, but also mentor them and support them with their social and emotional development.

Occupational therapists support students with their Educational Health Care Plans which you will also help to implement, ensuring each student gets the most professional support.

Your standard working hours would be between 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday but may be subject to change.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
