An exciting opportunity to join large secondary academy in Salford, known for their developing support department.

* Full-time Behaviour Mentor required.
* Required from September 2020.
* Supporting pupils aged 11-16 who have challenging behaviour.
* Paid up to �350 per week.
* Based in a secondary academy in Salford.

Our client secondary school are currently looking for an additional member of staff to join their support department to support pupils with challenging behaviour.

Working as a Behaviour Mentor in our client school will involve working with pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE who require additional support due to their behavioural difficulties. The incoming member of staff will be expected to support identified pupils across a variety of subjects alongside the class teacher. The successful candidate will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to assess and monitor their behaviour. The class teacher will provide the Behaviour Mentor with the correct resources and the timetable plan for each day. These pupils have may have minor learning difficulties or SEN alongside their challenging behaviour.

Our client school is located in the Salford area and can be accessed via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Prestwich and Trafford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas of Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
