Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting teachers of History to work within our Secondary school clients in Rotherham and a short or long term basis to suit you starting in September 2020

Purpose of the role:

* To effectively deliver and teach relevant lesson plans to designated students
* To undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties to provide a high-quality education to the pupils
* To ensure the needs of the School are met with proficiency and professionalism

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Follow the Safeguarding Policy and the Behavioural Policy set out by the School
* Create and follow lesson plans to meet the development needs of the students
* Marking all students work
* Manage classroom and student behaviour
* Ensure you are up to date with the National Curriculum/ School Policies and any other developments that affect your specialist subject

Essential criteria:

* QTS or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience teaching in History
* Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships
* Strong classroom management and behavioural management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
