Teaching Personnel are the Nation's leading education agency and work with a number of specialist provisions in the UK. We are currently supporting recruitment for a Primary SEMH School in Trafford (M32) who are looking for Mentors to support students with challenging behaviours whilst they pursue their education.
The school are looking for Mentors who can provide small group and 1:1 support within class or intervention sessions, who is resilient in the face of changeable behaviour but can provide a supportive and nurturing approach to behaviour management.
You should ideally have worked in a child workforce based environment, with experience in mental health or special needs.

In your role you will support Primary age students with an Educational Health Care Plan, with diagnosed or undiagnosed social, emotional or mental health issues which can be alongside special needs. The school is looking for a Mentor who can comfortably build rapport with the students and act as a source of support when managing their emotional wellbeing. Patience, Kindness and Care is key for a successful Mentor!

The school located in Trafford (M32) is OFSTED rated 'OUTSTANDING' and continues to meet safeguarding priorities meaning the students are in an environment where their development has the ability to soar!
