Design Technology teacher post starting in September at a centrally located school in Manchester. You will be teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 with Resistant Materials experience being desirable for the successful DT teacher.

This is a multi culturally diverse secondary school with high levels of students eligible for free school meals over 40% and over 50% who use English as an additional language. There is the opportunity to earn a school based contract after an initial introduction through Teaching Personnel.

Staff morale is high and you will be given regular support and CPD opportunities throughout to enhance your teaching ability so the school are looking for someone with ambition and a passion for self development. Within this new build there are excellent facilities and teaching aids providing an excellent platform for learning and development of students.

Centrally located the school is a few miles from Manchester City Centre and can be easily found via trams and bus routes for those on public transport.

Design Technology teachers coming to the end of a contract or those who have just completed a PGCE are welcome to apply with the school open to all applications. You will need to have QTS, experience teaching in a UK secondary school, school based references and an application for a fully enhanced DBS certificate to apply.
