An opportunity has arisen at one of our client schools in Bracknell.

Role: English Teacher

Starting: September 2020

The role will run for a half a term in the first instance, though there is potential for this to be extended.

Requirements for this position:

The applicant must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

NQT's are encouraged

A degree (preferably in English or a related subject)

Prior experience in the delivery of English lessons within a secondary school (up to GCSE is essential)

Key aspects of this role:

Delivering school curriculum, implementing strategies designed to ensure that every child can succeed within the subject.

Working with children with SEN and ensuring differentiation has taken place to ensure the learning process is accessible for these students.

Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils, as well as encouraging group work when necessary.

Setting tasks designed to keep children engaged with the subject, as well as relevant homework tasks.

Working with other members of staff to identify pupils requiring additional support within the subject.

Providing constant and regular feedback to: pupils, parents and senior leaders when necessary.

Preparing students for in class assessments and examinations.

Monitoring day to day factors related to: pastoral issues, attendance as well as behaviour management.

The school was graded 'GOOD' after it's latest Ofsted inspection.

Examination results within English are consistently improving.

Located not far from Bracknell town centre.

There are several public transport links located close by, as well as motorway links in close proximity for those that drive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
