This secondary school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in September at the beginning of the new academic year. This is a full time Teaching Assistant position for the first Autumn term in the first instance. The successful SEN TA will be working with year 7 to year 9 students in small groups within the classroom ensuring they are engaged and remain on task. Confidence and motivation is key within this role, with the SEN TA benefitting from being part of a highly supportive team of Teaching Assistants.

The school is a large co-educational secondary school based in the city centre of Manchester, close to the local Metrolink. It is therefore easily accessible via public transport but also a large secure on site car park for those travelling by car.

Highlights of this SEN TA position:

* Full time Teaching Assistant position; initially on a supply basis with the opportunity for a school-based contract
* Pay will be dependent upon experience and full time hours with the opportunity to earn up to �1350 per month

The school's SENCO oversees the support staff within this large secondary school and is keen to have the successful SEN TA start as soon as possible at the beginning of the new academic year. The new cohort of year 7s are due to start on 4 th September before the main set of students the week after with the successful TA being required to start on this day.

The school are therefore looking for an effective TA who has the ability to engage with students aged between 11 and 14 but is flexible and adaptable in their approach. The school is highly supportive of all staff and will offer the successful TA various training opportunities.
