Our client secondary school is located in Bury and is currently looking for an additional teacher to join the Science department due to a staffing gap in the new academic year. This position is ideal for applicants hoping to secure a permanent position in the future. The school has around 800 pupils on roll including an SEN department for students with learning or behavioural difficulties.

The school is easily accessible via the A56 and M66 from surrounding areas including Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. The school is close by to the town centre and can also be accessed via public transport links including bus and train, from neighbouring areas.

The incoming Science teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The successful candidate will be planning, preparing and delivering Science lessons to meet the needs of individuals at varying levels of learning.

To be considered for this position, the incoming Science teacher must have QTS and a subject specialism in a relevant Science. Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers as all relevant support and induction will be provided.
