This role is the ideal opportunity to gain further experience working within a secondary school, fine tune your skill set working with secondary aged pupils and enhance your knowledge of pupils with challenging behaviour.

* Full time Behaviour Support Assistant.
* Secondary school in Bury.
* Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour aged 11-16 across all curriculum areas.
* Earn up to �1500 per month.

Due to a proposed increase in pupils who display challenging behaviour, our partner school wishes to appoint an additional behaviour support worker for the new academic year (September 2020-July 2021), with the potential of a permanent contract.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will be assisting class teachers to positively impact the learning and development of students through a variety of responsibilities including leading small group sessions to pupils not making expected progress and working 1:1 with pupils who struggle to engage in the classroom.

Our client school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via public transport from the town centre as well as other surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. The school is also accessible via the M66/A56 for those with their own transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
