A secondary school in the Altrincham area of Trafford is looking to recruit a Computer Science teacher to join them for the first term of the new academic year in Septembe. The successful Computer Science teacher should be experienced teaching KS3 to KS5, up to A-level which can be from previous placements or from a previous teaching position. Applications are therefore encouraged from teachers of all experience including NQTs or more experienced classroom practitioners as long as A-level is able to be taught.

This is a requirement for the Computer Science teacher to take on an extended paternity cover.

The school itself is an extremely reputable school in the area with the college as part of the main school. The current full time teacher is due to extend their paternity for the entire term which has been authorised by the school's Headteacher, so the successful teacher of Computer Science will be required for the full term in the first instance.

The successful Computer Science teacher will be involved with all aspects of the curriculum, including the features of safe, secure and responsible practice as well as Python programming and website coding. Given that there is an element of A-level teaching, the successful Computer Science teacher should be a specialist in their field.

The school is located in the Altrincham area, making it very easy to access via public transport or car. The school has an on site car park and plenty of residential parking nearby as well as being serviced by the local Metrolink regularly. The local train station is within walking distance as well as buses travelling right outside the school. The school also has fantastic facilities with fully equipped Computing suites with the latest equipment at the teachers' and students' disposal.
