Join an excellent secondary school located in Tameside , seeking to appoint a Design Technology teacher from September until the end of the academic year 20/21.

We welcome applications from newly qualified and experienced DT teachers .

This popular secondary school is seeking to appoint a Design Technology teacher from September teach KS3 and GCSE Design Technology across the age range. The successful DT teacher will join the schools successful Art and Technology department and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across the full age range. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with the department to create schemes of work for KS3 and GCSE. We are looking for a committed teacher with excellent classroom management and a genuine passion for their subject.

A specialism in Resistant Materials is desirable however we welcome applications from Design Technology teachers of all specialisms.

To apply for this position, applicants must:

- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Have recent experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Design Technology

- Be available on a full time basis from September for one academic year

- Be a professional and committed teacher

The successful teacher will join a large popular secondary school located in Tameside a short drive from the East of Manchester city centre. Due to its location, the school is easily accessible by public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas of Stockport, Tameside and the Peak District.
