Job Ref:

I am recruiting graduates for working in schools as teaching assistants. Are you looking for a graduate job? Are you due to graduate this summer and are you considering a career in teaching? Would you like paid work experience in schools near you to help you decide if teaching is the right path for you? If yes, then our Future Teachers Programme could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Future Teachers Programme is a scheme across England & Wales, designed to help address the current shortages of teachers, by attracting and supporting graduates who are considering a career in teaching, but wish to gain paid school based experience prior to starting a teacher training course.

If you are a graduate and want to join this programme, you will begin working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant or Cover supervisor from September 2020. This will give you invaluable experience and a thorough insight into teaching prior to applying for your teacher training scheme. As well as this, you have the opportunity of earning up to 1,200 per month.

Working at one or a number of our client schools near where you live, you will engage in a range of tasks to get a full feel of what it would be like to be a teacher, from supporting pupils with their studies in small groups and 1:1, to assisting class teachers across all departments.

Applicants interested in applying to our Future Teachers Programme are required to be educated to degree level or have completed your degree by summer 2020. We welcome applications from graduates across all subject areas. Ideally, you will have access to your own vehicle as you may be required to work across different schools for different assignments.

To be successful in gaining a position on our Future Teachers Programme, you must have a genuine desire for becoming a school teacher.
