An opportunity has arisen at a school in Tameside for a motivated Maths teacher. The role will focus on the delivery of quality lessons across both KS3 and KS4. The position will begin after the Easter break, and will run through until the end of the academic year. The required applicant will:

* Be educated to degree level (preferably in or a related subject)
* Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
* Be able to successfully deliver school curriculum, working as part of a team to ensure that pupils are engaged with the subject.

It is imperative that the applicant is able to:

* Confidently deliver lessons across multiple key stages, in line with school curriculum.
* Manage behaviour expectations in line with school policy, as well as deal with any pastoral issues that may arise.
* Effectively differentiate the learning process, to ensure that this is adequate in meeting the needs of all pupils, especially those with SEN.
* Working with pupils who require EAL support, and being able to understand the complexities that these children may face within the mainstream learning process.
* Provide regular feedback with regards to student attainment, examination preparation and any pastoral issues.
* Set targets for students on an individual basis, and ensuring that these allow the individual to maximise their overall ability within the subject fully.
