A client Primary SEN School are looking for outstanding NQT Teachers who have worked in an SEN setting to join their staff in September.

As a Sen Teacher at this school, you will be delivering to small class sizes of children who have a range of learning and medical needs. This will be by lleading classroom sessions, often with the support of one or more Teaching Assistants to assist you, and help deliver individualised lessons to certain children. The children's needs range from Moderate, Profound and Severe learning difficulties, with ASC and ADHD predominantly the main need for these children.

Some children vary in their abilities and needs, with some pupils non-verbal using Makaton, Sign a long, POD and PECS as a way to communicate through the curriculum lessons and throughout the school day (I.E Drink, toilet etc...)

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role, you should have finished your studies and hold full QTS. You must be an experienced Teacher with recent experience working with pupils with a range of SEN, SLD and ASD would be beneficial. You should have a good knowledge of the current curriculum and a passion for helping children to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
