Tutors required for Looked After Children and students not accessing from mainstream Education.

We are currently recruiting for Maths and English Tutors for students who require extra support with Education for a number of needs, which can include SEN, SEMH and EAL.

Oldham and Rochdale MBC provide regular referrals to Teaching Personnel for students requiring 1 or 2 hours of tuition per day, in core subject areas to maintain their abilities and hopefully pass GCSE.

Currently, tuition is provided Online via an excellent tool for creativity, Bramble, allowing you to provide engaging sessions with meaningful content. In normal service tuition is done face to face at the students residence with an appropriate adult present.

You are paid a rate of �20 per hour and are required to create your own material based on the students abilities with the Maths and English curriculum. Ideally you will be a Qualified Teacher and be able to tutor up to GCSE level however experience tutors are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
