Job Ref:

Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA Job in Launceston - full time.

Your new company
Teaching Personnel is currently looking for a HLTA to work in a North Cornwall Mainstream Primary School. We are looking to recruit Higher Level Teaching Assistants who have a passion for working in a primary school environment with proven experience of working within an educational setting.

Your new role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the teacher, complimenting their role and freeing them up to have more time to develop each child to his or her potential. Main duties will include contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons, monitoring pupils participation and progress, providing feedback to teachers, giving constructive support to pupils as they learn, and working with individuals, small groups and whole classes when the assigned teacher is not present.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have HLTA status (or QTS, but looking for less responsibility than a teaching role). You will also need proven experience within the last 2 years with good/strong classroom management skills. You will have a flexible adaptable and positive approach and outlook towards work.

What you'll get in return
Sccess to Teaching Personnel's CPD Academy - a library of courses that are both free or heavily discounted. Pay is competitive and based on experience and you will have a dedicated consultant to support your career.
