Teaching Personnel is recruiting for an 'outstanding' SEN primary school in Beckenham, which is planning to be open and fully operation in September 2020, dependent on further guidance from the government in relation to Coronavirus.

* The role: SEN teaching assistant
* The class: either a mixed key stage 2 class of children who have complex needs including autism and are non-verbal, or a mixed key stage 1 class of children with autism, speech and language difficulties
* Each class has a teacher and two other teaching assistants, who you will work with collaboratively
* You must be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour, and it is highly desirable if you already have de-escalation, behaviour management or restraint training or are interested in taking the Team Teach training course
* You will be working full time, 08:30am - 15:30pm each day Monday to Friday
* There is potential to secure a permanent contract with this school if you do well after your first 6 months with the agency

You must be available for work in September and have a DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to complete a new application as soon as possible.

* You will have a dedicated SEN consultant as your point of contact at the agency
* We also offer CPD training courses that you will be eligible to book yourself onto
* We offer a �50 bonus if you refer another teaching assistant to work with us
