Are you looking for a special needs teaching assistant position?

Can you travel to Swanley, Bromley for work?

I am working with an SEN school for children with moderate learning difficulties, situated in Swanley, that requires a teaching assistant to join their large staff team in September 2020. The school has remained partially open during the Coronavirus outbreak, and is planning to be fully open from September.

The school has provision for students with autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and other moderate learning difficulties. It caters for children aged 7-19 and also provides a residential option for up to 20 students during the week.

The teaching assistant role available:

* Full time, long term role, with the potential to become a permanent position in the New Year, if you like the school and do well during the Autumn term
* Each working day is 08:45am - 15:45pm, Monday - Friday, term time only
* You will be placed in a mixed key stage class of no more than 10 students
* There will be two other teaching assistants in the room who you will work with on a daily basis
* The school offers regular INSET training days, which you will be invited to take part in

The exceptional school building:

* Victorian building with large classrooms set in beautiful grounds with a large car park
* Large hall with sensory development activities including trampolining
* Outdoor learning including Forest School and horse riding
* Outside play and learning spaces
* Residential provision for up to 20 students during the week

You must be able to provide a 6 year career history, references from your current and previous employers and have a DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to complete a new application as soon as possible.
