The Head Teacher of a primary school in Bamber Bridge is looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic newly qualified teacher to teach their Year 4 class from Wednesday 2 nd September 2020.

As the school are currently unable to carry out the necessary procedures for appointing a new member of staff on a permanent contract, they have made the decision to recruit and appoint for the role via Teaching Personnel. Their aim is to take the successful candidate onto a school contract in January 2021, following a successful period of probation.

The Head Teacher is looking to provide the necessary support for the newly qualified teacher to complete their induction year, including regular CPD opportunities and a school-based mentor.

The successful candidate will be required to take on the full Class Teacher role, including planning, teaching, and assessing. You will be expected to attend weekly staff meetings and parents' evenings and contribute to the wider life of the school.

In light of the school closures, there will be a large focus on Nurture alongside behaviour management and SEMH support. There will be an experienced teaching assistant within the class, who in organised and supportive.

The Head Teacher will be shortlisting candidates on 12 th June 2020. Shortly after this date, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a virtual interview over Microsoft Teams.
