Primary School in Rawtenstall

A Primary School in Rawtenstall require a Year 1 teacher on a part time basis (Monday-Wednesday). This school has been consistently using Teaching Personnel for a number of years & have been happy with the service & candidates that have been provided. Due to a gap in staffing the school are looking for a part time teacher in Year 1 to start in September until December initially, with the view to continue if they have a successful term in school.

The Head Teacher has stated that they are open to NQT'S, RQT's and experienced teachers for this role. The school require the applying candidates to hold Qualified Teacher Status and have recent, relevant experience working in Year 1, be able to attain 2 good/outstanding references & be fully available from September. You must also be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff. You would be expected to attend staff meetings, INSETs and Parents Evenings through the academic year.

Due to the current worldwide pandemic and the social distancing measures introduce by the government, the head & deputy would like to conduct a Microsoft team's interview, with the view to observe possibly early July to make a firm offer of employment.

In order to be considered for this role you must hold the following as a necessity:

- QTS in Primary Education

- Sound knowledge Phonics schemes of work - in particular Letters & Sounds

- Experience teaching Key Stage 1

- Have at least two education based references from your most recent employer(s) which are 'GOOD' or 'OUTSTANDING'.
