We arecurrently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Child Development Teacher to work in a lovely school based in the Oxford area.

Our client can offer a long-term part-time position from Septeber with the potential of being extended or progression into a permanent position.

Purpose Of The Role

- To effectively deliver and teach relevant lesson plans to designated students

- To undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties to provide a high-quality education to the pupils

- To ensure the needs of the School are met with proficiency and professionalism Main Duties And Responsibilities

- Follow the Safeguarding Policy and the Behavioural Policy set out by the School

- Create and follow lesson plans to meet the development needs of the students

- Marking all students work

- Manage classroom and student behaviour

- Ensure you are up to date with the National Curriculum/ School Policies and any other developments that affect your specialist subject Essential Criteria

Previous experience teaching Child Development to Key Stage 3 & 4 students would be required, we would expect you to have QTS or equivalent qualification and the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships along with an excellent understanding of The National Curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
