Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in Accrington who are in need of a skilled Teaching Assistant to work full time in the Reception class. The Head Teacher has expressed that they are looking for a skilled Early Years Teaching Assistant who has the ability to support children who are new to school, children who aren't 'school ready', basic reading and writing activities, supporting in the outdoor provision and would feel confident delivering Interventions to small groups of children within the EYFS class.

The Practitioner must be dedicated and passionate, who has an encouraging personality and who will help the class make positive progress throughout the year. The position is to start in September and will be full time. The view is for the role to become permanent from December for the right candidate. The role requires a level 3 qualification or higher because you will be expected to work alongside the class HLTA to cover management & PPA time for the class teacher.

You will need to hold the following;

* Experience in EYFS or School environment
* Available for full time work
* Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector
* Level 3 qualified or above
* Good behaviour management skills
* Experience of delivering Phonics

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour position, Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between �65 - �85 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
