We are looking for therapy graduates for a special needs teaching assistant role starting in September 2020. The role is full-time in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Special Needs School in Ealing working in a small primary class of children diagnosed with a range of needs including autism, complex sensory needs and learning difficulties.

The school is based in between Sudbury Hill and Greenford Station in Ealing and is recruiting 3 special need teaching assistants to start in September 2020. The school has two departments each with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes and successful therapy graduates will be working in the schools complex needs department.

The role will involve 1:1 support of children both in education and care, recording and observing pupil progress, collaborative work with in-house therapists, specialists and experienced special needs teaching assistants along with on-going specialist training.

Having moving and handling, personal care, physiotherapy, SEN school or environment experience will be highly beneficial.

Successful Therapy graduates will:

* Have a UK recognised therapy degree (qualification required)
* Be available full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:00 from September 2020
* Be experienced supporting special educational needs or medical conditions whether on placement, volunteer basis or paid work
* Be experienced or open to supporting with personal care or moving and handling
* Be in the borough of Ealing or within local distance as punctuality is vital

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
